Ingredients and Recipe Instructions


Almond Roca

3/4 pound butter
2 cups confectioner's sugar
1 cup blanched almonds
1 cup chocolate chips
chopped walnuts (try 1/2 cup)

Melt butter in large pot. Add sugar and boil for 5 minutes. Add 1 cup blanched almonds. Stir constantly. Cook to hard crack stage or 300F. Pour into buttered cookie sheet. When almost cool, spread with melted chocolate chips. Then pour chopped walnuts on top.
