Apple crisp
4 large apples, peeled and sliced (Granny Smith is good) 1 tbsp lemon juice 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats 1/4 cup flour (whole-wheat) 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg 4 tbsp melted butter
Put apples in a baking pan. Mix water and lemon juice and pour over the apples. In another mixing bowl, mix sugar, oats, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg then add butter. Mix well. Put the mixture over the apples. Bake at 350F until the apples are tender. Remove from the oven. Serve!
