Banana Cake -- Yogurt

My Thai friend, Ae+, gave me this recipe. It is very famous among the Thai group in Seattle. All the kids love this Banana Cake. This recipe requires yogurt instead of milk.

Ingredients and Recipe Instructions
Banana Cake -- Yogurt


2/3 cup butter
1 2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3-4 bananas
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
2/3 cup yogurt


Put butter in an electric mixer bowl blend until it’s fluffy. Add sugar just a little at a time and blend well. Add eggs and vanilla. Add bananas. In another dry bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add dry ingredient into the butter mixture and add yogurt, blend well. Put in a cake baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees until it’s done, approximately 50 minutes.

You can also add sliced almond on top the cake before you bake it.
