Ingredients and Recipe Instructions


Banana Cake

2 1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter
3 egg yolks
3 mashed bananas
3 egg whites
3/4 cups nuts
1 1/2 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 teaspoon soda dissolved in milk
3 cups flour (cake flour sifted first)
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Cream sugar, butter, yolks. Add cut-up bananas, then flour and milk. Nuts are optional.

Bake at 350F for 40-45 min.
