Cilantro and Sesame Seed Chicken
3 lbs chicken thigh with bone or 1 whole chicken
Marinade 1/3 cup cilantro (chopped) 3-4 cloves of garlic 1 tsp pepper 1 tbsp sugar 2 tsp salt 1 1/2 tbsp lime juice 2 – 3 tbsp warm water 3 tbsp white sesame seeds
Put cilantro, garlic, pepper, sugar and salt in a blender or mortar and blend well. Put lime juice and warm water in the mixture. Put chicken in a Ziploc bag and pour the mixture and sesame seeds in the bag. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
Preheat the oven to 350F. Put the chicken on the grill pan and cook, approximately 45 minutes or 1 hour then turn the oven to a broiler on slow and grill the chicken until the chicken turned brown. Serve.
You can also use outdoor grill to grill the chicken.
