Ingredients and Recipe Instructions


Evelyn's Cheese Cake

2 8 oz packages cream cheese
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
lemon juice to taste
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping:
1 1/2 cups sour cream
2 tablespoons sugar
lemon juice to taste
vanilla to taste


Cream the softened cream cheese. Gradually beat in sugar. Beat in 1 egg at a time. Season to taste with lemon juice and vanilla.

Bake at 375 for 25 minutes. Cool short time. Top with sour cream sweetened with about 2 tablespoons sugar, lemon juice and vanilla. Put back in oven about 7 minutes.

Cake will still be soft and wiggly in the center.

This can be made with a graham cracker crust.
