French Style Tomato Sauce
7.5 oz Crème Fraiche ( if you don’t have this then you can use sour cream)
1 lb fresh tomatoes (cut into small pieces)
4 tbsp butter
4 tbsp tomato paste
salt and pepper (for tasting)
Put all the ingredients into a pot over medium high heat. Mix the ingredients well until it is cook. Turn off the stove let the sauce cool down. Put the sauce in the blender and blend until it is smooth. Serve. The sauce is good with pasta. I also use it with Tofu. See my Tofu with tomato sauce recipe.
