Lamb Shanks
Lamb shanks need to be cooked slowly, so the meats fall off the bone. This recipe can also be cooked in a slow cooker. This dish is beautiful and tasty.

Lamb Shanks
4 lamb shanks 2 slices bacon 1 tbs Worcester sauce 1 dessertspoon tabasco sauce 2 tbs oil 2 carrots 1 large onion 2 tbs brown sugar 1/4 cup vinegar 1/2 cup water 2 sticks of celery
Roll shanks in flour, salt and pepper. Cut up onion, brown it and shanks in oil. Cut bacon into 3 cm. pieces and add to shanks etc. Transfer all into casserole dish. Add chunks of carrot and celery. Mix together sugar, sauce, vinegar and water pour over shanks etc. Cook in slow oven for 2 hours.
