Ingredients and Recipe Instructions
Lemon Bars

Bottom:
1 cup flour (unsifted)
2 cups sugar
1 cup margarine


Top:
4 eggs
4 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups sugar
8 tablespoons lemon juice

Mix bottom ingredients and put in bottom of greased 9 x 12 inch pan. Bake 15 min at 375F.

Mix top ingredients and pour over bottom. Bake 25 more minutes at 375F. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Wow... 2 cups of sugar for the bottom and 2 cups for the top... that's a lot of sugar, and it's very sweet. One of these days, I'll cut the sugar in half or fourths and see how it is.
