Ingredients and Recipe Instructions
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoon baking soda
5 cups oatmeal
24 oz (one bag) chocolate chips
1 teaspoon salt (optional)

Beat butter and sugars until smooth. Beat in eggs. Mix together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and add to mixture. Mix in oatmeal and chocolate chips. Bake by teaspoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet at 400F for 10 minutes.
