Spicy Bamboo Shoot with Pork and Basil
1 cup bamboo shoot (sliced, found at Asian grocery store) 1/2 cup pork (thinly sliced) 1/3 cup Thai basil 5-8 Thai chilli (more or less as desire) 5- 8 cloves garlic 1/2 tsp sugar 3 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp oil
In a small blender put garlic and chilli, blend well. Place a pan over medium high heat and put oil, chilli mixer, stir-fry for a few minutes. Add pork, stir-fry until the pork is no longer pink and add bamboo shoot, sugar, soy sauce and basil. Stir-fry until it is done. Taste and Serve. Good with rice.
