Thai Fish Cakes (Thod Mun Pla) with Cucumber Sauce
I like this dish a lot. It can be a starter or snack. My brother and my sister used to have this after we finished school for our snack in Thailand.

Thai Fish Cakes (Thod Mun Pla) with Cucumber Sauce
**Thai Fish Cakes 18 oz. (500 g) Any white fish 1/2c string bean --chopped 4 lime leaves --chopped fine 1tsp red curry paste 1 egg 1tsp sugar 1tsp salt Cooking oil for flying
**Cucumber Sauce 1c diced cucumber 1/2c ground roasted peanuts 1/2c sugar 1/2c white vinegar or rice wine vinegar
Combine fish, red curry paste, sugar and salt in a food processor. The mixture should be throughly combined after that put string bean and lime leaves in the mixture. Use hands, shape into patties. Set aside on tray until ready to fry. Deep fry in hot oil until light golden brown. Serve with cucumber sauce.
**Cucumber sauce Put sugar and vinegar in the pot and heat. When the mixture comes to the boil, remove from the stove and let it cool. put it into a cup, add cucumber and ground peanuts.
