Chinese Dumpling
There are lots of frozen dumplings available, but you control all the ingredients if you make them yourself. You can put pretty much anything in, and it's a great activity to involve the kids when time allows. My kids love to make them into pillow shapes, and they eat all the "pillows" they make!

Chinese Eggplant with Ground Pork
My four-year-old loves this dish; she asks for it all the time and I cook it at least once a week. Make sure you have enough sauce for everyone to mix into their bowls of steaming rice; yum!

Clam Soup
This is a staple in my house. It's quick and easy, and tastes light and fresh. In the winter I like to increase the amount of ginger to make the soup extra spicy.

Li's Tossed Green
This is my quick and healthy green vegetable dish. Serve immediately and it tastes heavenly!

Preserved Egg with Tofu
Growing up, this no-cook dish is a favorite of mine during summer heat. The strong taste of preserved egg is balanced perfectly by the bland tofu. I haven't eaten this in years until recently, after my acupuncturist (Hi Tiffany!) told me preserved eggs are good for me.
